THE SCHEDULES
• The city of Jeffersonville still plans to hold its official trick-or-treat from 6 to 9 p.m. on Halloween night, Thursday, Oct. 31. However, the city also has set up an alternate day from the same time Saturday, Nov. 2, if parents or guardians feel it is unsafe for their children to be out on the streets because of potential bad weather.
• New Albany will hold trick-or-treating from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday. However, an alternative date of Friday will be used if its storms.
• Floyd County and Georgetown will hold trick-or-treat from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
• The city of Charlestown has moved its trick-or-treat ahead a day, along with its Trunk or Treat event in the city square. Both events will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30. In addition, the First Baptist Church in Charlestown has moved its Halloween trick-or-treat to 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. The event will be held indoors.
• Clarksville has also moved it’s trick-or-treat to 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday due to the weather concerns
